One day away from Exam, Having been able to study pretty consistently is pretty draining. and just today was pretty much out of fuel already for a certain subject. That feeling of wanting to give up studying its pretty much brings back memory of running that last few meters in a race. Same feeling just minus the out of breath and hot sun.
At least able to afford to start slacking on studies now as I've pretty much been able to study before hand. I guess its actually my first time ever not cramming on the few last days of exam but rather the pattern still has not changed
Today I missed my church's morning service so I decided to attend the Evening service. All 3 are the same sermon in English. So today we were going through John 2:1-25. It was pretty incredible to learn so much new things.
Such as, Why was this particular Water in to Wine Miracle the first?
When Jesus mention about this is not his time yet. Was He talking about the start of His ministry or the time for his death?
Why specifically request 6 water pots according to the manner of Purification of the Jews? Why no normal pots?
V11. The beginning of signs, what signs? signs of what?
and so much more that I have learned tonight. Looking forward to more as our Church is going through the book of John. As we had our communion service I could feel tonight was surely different. Its as if I was given another perspective of how profound Jesus Ministry was.
To top it off a song that totally boosted up my soul, feeling encourage and ready to take on the world once again was "I will follow" by Chris Tomlin
All your ways are good
All your ways are sure
I will trust in you alone
Higher than my sight
High above my life
I will trust in you alone
Where you go, I'll go
Where you stay, I'll stay
When you move, I'll move
I will follow you
Who you love, I'll love
How you serve I'll serve
If this life I lose, I will follow you
I will follow you
Light unto the world
Light unto my life
I will live for you alone
You're the one I seek
Knowing I will find
All I need in you alone, in you alone
In you there's life everlasting
In you there's freedom for my soul
In you there joy, unending joy
and I will follow
Especially the bridge that really got to me during the service. Got back home feeling great. Ready to take on the exam that is set before me for the entire Exam season. This one's for Him and to my dad as well.
Also I ever thought, on how usually people dedicated their performance to someone who has recently passed away. I thought to myself why not dedicate and announce it more often before that special person is gone. That way he/she can see how hard your working.
