Recently I mange to glide through the book "Chazown" by Ps. Craig Groeschel.
This book honestly inspired and motivated me to really want to set a vision for my personally life and to really make it count.
Simple questions like, What do you want to be remembered for? pretty much sparks a thought of what are you doing already right now that makes people think about you.
Than again having thoughts of what people think about you also sparks the issue of narcissism. But I truly believe when the focus can be shift form the self. There would be a high chance of even inspiring people you never thought of.
Chazown simply means Vision. Having a vision in your finance , in your relationship and pretty much anything that revolves around your life. Surely I will come back to this book and have some serious thought and focus and vision casting for my own life in paper work. Not just the typical do it in your head.
I believe life has so much more to offer for us and learning from the book that even the things that we are doing right now does lead to destiny which God has planned for us. Then again it raises a question of what if I don't make it? What if somehow what I am doing now does not really relate to what God has called me to do?
The book always emphasize on a saying every chapter, which is "Everyone would end up somewhere, but not everyone ends up somewhere on purpose.", and it pretty much brings this concept to all the other topic that Ps. Craig Groeschel touches on.
So, having been living in Melbourne for about 3 months now. I finally realize I really have to do something about my knowledge and abilities on the areas of finance or budgeting. I mean surely its better late or never or maybe in my case if some would agree. Its never too early to start. Knowing and coming to the realization that I have a bad spending habit and really hoping to turn things around.
That's one hope and aim which I want to achieve, and having such motivation I know I'll be able to work out a plan. For those reading this. Do keep me accountable and once in awhile ask me on my progress on my journey in improving my capabilities in my personal finance, it would truly truly help me a lot :)
