I should really get started on my assignment, but first let me jot down a quick thought I had that may make the world a better place.
Smiles, not just those quick smirk that people give showing an act of interest, but rather those smiles that really light up the whole atmosphere, be to it in a party, a casual conversation or even through a mobile device ! I believe its those genuine smile that gives out a glow like no other, an expression of joy and happiness that reflects a persons inner being either for the moment or as whole.
I may not know what smiles may do to us biologically but all I know for now that if it manages to get me going by for another day, week or months, it will do. This leads the question of, if its such a joyous moment that may capture a persons heart. What value may I place upon such a moment? Would all that I do be worth it at the end? What limits be broken just to witness once more a beautiful moment?
So here's my take. I think its all good to seek such phenomenon but not at the expense of your life principles. The danger is turning something thats beautiful into an idol itself. Yes, I strive to bring out a smile from everyone most of the time. I won't always succeed, and most definitely won't kill myself to see one happen. But when I do succeed, it comes and goes in a moment. How we retain it depends entirely up to you.
End Message: Just smile more, somehow it just works

New Routines
I find it odd that motivation can get me going for about 1 month before things start to slow down and eventually back to the idle state thats within me. It is in fact a constant decision to fight against that inner will of being idle in life and just go with the motion.
One way I get around it is to think "would this current idleness attitude contribute to the goals or vision I have?" Usually no. Which is why I hold having a vision and goals important in life. It helps sets a direction and a sense of purpose.
Having said so, I won't condemn myself for failing at times. Its all about getting back up when you fall or get back to speed when you slow down. While at the gym today after a week of slowing down, I notice a small decline in performance. Yes, I was a little discourage, but I was reminded of the idea of small beginning. What about it? Well, I would like to think of it this way, my small beginning has passed on since the day I joined the gym, now its all about progress and would rather use the quote "Slow progress is better than no progress"whenever I start my day.
Little by little, step by step, I would have to just keep on going despite me not feeling it. At the end of the day I can always reflect and be glad I got out of bed and start my day early. Having that sense of accomplishment is important. Its a sign of progress. While there is progress, I'm already better than who I was the day before.
On a final note I would like to end with this "Consistency is the key"

A Different Side of Dragon Ball
After a short period of studying and watching dragon ball at the same time. I have finally come to the end of dragon ball z the series.
-R.F-
The last few episodes were pretty amazing. Here are some of the characters.
Goku (Saiyan) : A noble fighter who is a good guy and would never do anything to hurt anyone.
Vegita (Saiyan) : A cold hearted warrior who does not flinch when killing but slowly has a change of heart after settling down on earth.
Mr. Satan (Human) : A show name used known to the public as the worlds martial arts champion. Sorta living the life as a super star on a foundations of lies for saving the world once before.
Majin Buu (Monster) : An evil monster that is pure evil and only seeks to destroy anything in it's path for pure pleasure
So anyways, there was like 3 episode that really got to me. By this time the whole Earth has already been destroyed along with everyone on it. Mr. Satan was pretty much the only living human being on another planet witnessing the great battle against Majin Buu.
So Vegeta has an amazing plan of using the dragon balls to summon to eternal dragon and make 3 useful wishes in order to defeat the enemy. They were.
1. Restore the earth to it's original state
2. Revive everyone who was killed since the day of the catastrophe except very bad ones.
3. Restore Goku's strength at the final moment of finishing Majin Buu
So everyone was brought back to life and asked to contribute to Goku's ultimate attack called "Spirit bomb" which gathers energy from natural things.
Despite Vegeta's amazing speech. Only friends and families responded. The situation was tense and time was running out. Vegeta pleaded again, but this time with a tone of urgency. Still no response. People on earth were in doubt. They didn't believed. (Who could blame them right ? It's not normal to communicate telepathically anyways) People thought it was a scam, a demon perhaps that's sapping there very soul. They rather ignore and go on with their daily lives. Shutting away the voice that's calling them to finally be part of a great victory. A chance to finally be part of saving the earth has landed on deaf ears.
With one final plea. Vegeta who puts away his enormous pride and begs the people of earth to contribute. But yet, the result was pretty much the same.
At this point I too can probably understand when Vegeta express in desperation these ungratul earthling. This scene made me realize in fact. We earthling probably do deserve just to die and fall to the fate of death by following our own selfish ambitions. We do deserve it. It's what we brought upon ourselves from the very beginning.
But as the heat of battle is still going on. Goku's plea was also not much of a use. Until finally Mr. Satan. Shouts in frustration only to be heard and recognize d by the earthlings. And soon he convinced everyone on earth to contribute to the "Spirit bomb". And not long later the battle was over with the evil Majon Buu no more.
I guess the different side of how I can view this story is, we earthlings deserve death without any hope of salvation. Even when the good guys call out to us to change we do not recognize the voice and instead contine on with our lives believing whatever that seems to benifit our self- centerdness. But how ironic we easily cheer and go crazy in support when we hear the earth's champion Mr. Satan. A lier and fraud to his people.
So yeah. Yes I recognize at the end Mr. Satan played his role in the saving the earth (finally). But I'm merely taking my inspiration from the series and interpreted it differently.
The main point: I for the first time experience a whole perspective of what it means when the bible mentions that we earthlings were heading to death without any hope until of course God himself intervene. We could not help ourselves even if we wanted to.
